A born entrepreneur, Adrian Ambarus 鈥�16 started his first company, ,聽in 1995. In 2013, after learning about Oglethorpe鈥檚 Adult Degree Program, he enrolled while continuing to work with his company.
A native Romanian, Adrian graduates in 2016, with a Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in international business聽innovation and entrepreneurship.
While at Oglethorpe, Adrian studied abroad in France through the聽. There, Adrian was enrolled in courses that focused on innovation and entrepreneurship, including participation in the world鈥檚 largest accelerator 聽(EIA),聽an intensive and fast-paced learning environment and聽multidisciplinary and multinational space for education, research and innovation. He and his entrepreneur team in the EIA program developed a conceptual project, , a start-up mobile聽app that uses geo-tracking to allow users to access real-life feedback on places in the user鈥檚 immediate area. This is the type of work he envisions for himself in the future. 鈥淚 want to create fresh ideas of innovation in business,鈥� he says.
After he graduates, Adrian plans to apply to an executive MBA program with a concentration in innovation and global leadership,聽and would like to become an ambassador for the .
