Oglethorpe alumnus Bradley Firchow ’19 has been named to the ’30 Under 30′ Class of 2019.

These awards recognize young professionals for their outstanding work in the nonprofit sector of Georgia.
Firchow is currently a program coordinator at , an Atlanta nonprofit that provides life-changing surgeries and medical care for children in developing countries. Eventually, Firchow hopes to attend medical school and practice medicine in under-served rural areas.
As a student, Firchow studied Biopsychology and Public Health and was a Supplemental Instructor for Genetics. He held a two-year internship at the Centers for Disease Control in Prevention doing child development research and psychometric tool development and validation. He also served as Student Government Association President, and was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society and Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical Fraternity.
