Caitlin Tabilog 鈥18, an individually planned major in , is already developing into quite an entrepreneur.
A member of the Oglethorpe聽聽team, Caitlin has been building her own 聽since she was a senior in high school, first finding her place behind the camera while photographing friends, and then quickly expanding to professional gigs. She has won countless photography awards, including first聽place in a juried art show at the . “I am dedicated to excellence and聽not interested in being average,” she says.
Caitlin was recently hand-selected for a behind-the-scenes photography session with 惭补测辞谤听Rebecca Williams. Videographer Tim Minors discovered Caitlin鈥檚 photography on Oglethorpe’s list of聽preferred student photographers, after she was recommended by Oglethorpe photography faculty Sigrira Perret-Gentil. Caitlin聽worked alongside Mayor Williams, as well as other city officials, as they filmed a documentary about Brookhaven Council member聽Linley Jones聽in Lupton Auditorium.

While at Oglethorpe, Caitlin says she has gained a great deal of knowledge and skills needed for her business through the program.
“I spent hours learning poses and editing programs,” she said, “but Core 101 taught me how to speak to potential clients and how to express my ideas and articulate these concepts that I had learned.鈥
After graduation, Caitlin聽plans to continue her business and expand into photography for businesses.
