The has awarded Oglethorpe听Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach Peter Howell with the Ruth Lay Award, USTA-Georgia’s lifetime achievement award.
The recognition honors Howell’s听service and outstanding accomplishments in the tennis community. He also will receive the award for听The听Adult Tournament of the Year for the GA State Adult/Sr. Open.听
Howell has been inducted into the Georgia Tennis Hall of Fame, the USPTA-Southern Division Hall of Fame and the Georgia Professional Tennis Hall of Fame.
USTA-Georgia will host an听awards ceremony and dinner on January 30, 2016听.
