Last Monday, Tre Rice ’21 reached out to the Oglethorpe community to offer his first solo piano performance. Like many artists practicing social distancing, Rice wanted to nurture a sense of community with his craft.
“During this time of isolation, I feel that it is important to remain connected with others and to continue to share our light,” said Rice, who is a Business Administration major and a MusicÌý³¾¾±²Ô´Ç°ù.
The multi-talented junior also performs with the Jazzy Petrels, Oglethorpe’s jazz ensemble, and was a member of the . In fall 2019, Rice was named to the Dean’s List, which requires students to maintain a 3.5 GPA.
