Last Monday, Tre Rice ’21 reached out to the Oglethorpe community to offer his first solo piano performance. Like many artists practicing social distancing, Rice wanted to nurture a sense of community with his craft.
“During this time of isolation, I feel that it is important to remain connected with others and to continue to share our light,” said Rice, who is a聽Business Administration聽major and a聽Music听尘颈苍辞谤.
The multi-talented junior also聽performs聽with the Jazzy Petrels,聽Oglethorpe’s jazz ensemble, and was a member of聽the . In fall 2019, Rice was named to the Dean’s List, which requires students to maintain a 3.5 GPA.
