
Atlanta is home to one of Enterprise Holdings’ largest group headquarters, with more than 2,000 employees and a robust . This summer, Oglethorpe business administration major听Olivia Roberson ’19 distinguished herself among those interns.
As part of their internship experience, Enterprise hosts an Intern Presentation Day, during which summer interns share their ideas for improvements within the car rental company. Roberson and her team members gave a presentation of their recommendations for earning extra revenue by focusing on detailing fees, drop box fees and personnel scheduling.
During the event, Enterprise also gave out four awards to recognize outstanding interns in the program. Roberson earned the 鈥淗ustle Award鈥 for being the top ticket writer with 418 tickets—or customer interactions.
“Olivia was recognized out of approximately 40 interns from larger schools like UGA, Kennesaw, and Georgia Southern,”听said A_LAB Director and Assistant Provost听Beth Concepci贸n, Ph.D., who attended the presentations. “It’s a real testament to her preparedness for excelling in a professional training environment—an experience that will benefit her future career.”
Oglethorpe’s Atlanta Laboratory for Learning听helps students to map out their real-world experiences during their time at Oglethorpe, combining internships, study abroad, civic engagement and undergraduate research. Roberson also has been active in the A_LAB, serving as an Alternative Spring Break trip leader.
