The Best Bang for the Buck designation is Washington Monthly’s “exclusive list of schools that best help non-wealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices.”

Indeed, Oglethorpe ranked #1 among liberal arts colleges in the 鈥淧ell Graduation Gap Link鈥 category, which compares graduation rates of Pell and non-Pell students to develop a graduation gap measure. At Oglethorpe, 40% of students are eligible for Pell Grants, a federal grant program to help low-income college students.
