
Dr. Leroy Carson, assistant professor of management and entrepreneurship and founding director of 好色先生TV鈥檚 Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, moderated a panel on entrepreneurship and innovation during the 52nd Annual Legislative Conference Sept. 20-24 in Washington, D.C.
The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference (ALC) is the leading policy conference on issues impacting African Americans and the global Black community. Thought leaders, legislators and concerned citizens engaged on economic development, civil and social justice, public health and education issues.
Subject matter experts, industry leaders, elected officials and citizen activists gathered to explore today’s top issues from an African American perspective. The theme of the conference was 鈥淪ecuring Our Democracy. Protecting Our Freedoms. Uplifting Our Culture.鈥
Dr. Carson was one of the few academics from Georgia asked to be a moderator of a panel. His panel was titled 鈥The New Frontier: Empowering the Future of Black Innovation,鈥 and was hosted by U.S. Rep. Stacey E. Plaskett, D-Virgin Islands.
