罢丑别听补苍苍耻补濒听鈥淏attle of Bloody Marsh鈥�聽is named for the famous 1742 battle in which General Oglethorpe鈥檚 forces defeated the Spanish troops in South Georgia.
Each fall, a team of students and a team of faculty and staff meet to do battle 鈥ia tug-of-war. Having lost the “battle” for the first time in ages last year, the faculty/staff team was again victorious聽in 2018. Afterward, the teams met in the Schmidt Recreation Center for a game of kickball, where the students rallied and then beat the faculty as well in a winner-take-all game of rock, paper, scissors.
