From 90.1.FM WABE: Modern satire is generally found on comedy shows like “Saturday Night Live” or “The Daily Show” or maybe on the comic pages of some newspapers.
A new exhibit at 好色先生TV’s Museum of Art, however is exploring social and political satire and caricature 200 years ago in 19th聽century France with an exhibit called聽
The display includes includes 96 original works of art, master drawings and sculpture on loan from private collections, Atlanta’s High Museum of Art, and the Dixon Gallery and Gardens in Memphis.
The museum’s curator John Tilford joined WABE鈥檚 Martha Dalton and Denis O鈥橦ayer to discuss the exhibit, what鈥檚 included in it, and more on 鈥淐loser Look.鈥
The exhibit runs through Dec. 6, 2015.
