Once again, 聽was named to a list of —this time in U.S. News & World Report‘s 2016 rankings.
Universities nationwide are rated annually by U.S. News on the strength and quality of academic programs, in an effort to help prospective students and their families evaluate their higher education choices.
The 245 liberal聽arts colleges on the list emphasize undergraduate聽education and聽award at least half of their聽degrees in the arts and sciences,聽which include such聽disciplines as English, the聽biological and physical sciences,聽history, foreign languages聽and the visual and聽performing arts but exclude聽professional disciplines聽such as business, education聽and nursing. The list of National Liberal Arts Colleges includes 217 private, 27 public and one for-profit.
