The Liberal Arts & Sciences Symposium<\/a>\u00a0 brings together the university community in a day-long celebration of exemplary analytic and creative work produced by Oglethorpe students during the academic year.<\/p>\n The day began\u00a0with a PRISM (Posters of Research in Science and Mathematics) and Study Abroad poster session, where students presented their class-based and independent research projects.\u00a0Keynote speaker Dr. Anastasia Lin<\/strong> of the University of North Georgia\u00a0spoke on the importance of undergraduate research, and her own projects, before\u00a0attendees were invited to hear from students in panels and presentations throughout the day.
